Our relationship with Illinois Orthopedic Network

Every appointment booked through this site is with Illinois Orthopedic Network (ION) at 712 North Dearborn Street, Chicago. We want that to be clear before you call.

This site is advertising for ION. ION pays a flat monthly fee to be featured here.
The fee is the same no matter how many people contact ION. We are not paid per patient, per call or per appointment.
All medical care is provided by ION, by its own licensed providers. This website does not diagnose, treat or give medical advice.
You are free to choose any doctor. Illinois law gives injured workers two choices of doctor. Here is how that works.

How our pages are written

Each page is written by hand for Chicago workers. We do not mass-produce pages.

Legal information is checked against official sources, mainly the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Act and the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission’s handbook. Those sources are linked at the bottom of the guide pages.
Clinic information, such as services, hours and languages spoken, comes from ION and is confirmed with them.
No promises. We do not promise outcomes, settlements or payments, and we do not publish prices.
Review dates. Each page shows when it was last reviewed. Laws and benefit amounts change, so we recheck pages regularly.
